Description
What is lampworking?
Lampworking, also known as flame working, is the ancient art of melting glass on a hot torch, wrapping it around a mandrel and shaping it into beads or sculpting into other forms. There are a myriad of combinations of colours and types of glass that can be mixed with precious metal to create some truly stunning effects
About your workshop experience
In this workshop you will learn to melt glass rods at the torch and sculpt into floral forms. For those who have no experience in lampworking we will learn to create simple flowers and leaves. For those who have experience of torch we will explore more complex flowers.

What will I make?
This depends on your speed, but most people will make between 5 – 10 flowers and or leaves. You will also receive all of the flowers made by your tutor.
